Homeless and Foster Youth

A large portion of the homeless youth is foster youth who have reached the age of 18 and now find themselves homeless because the
money for providing care for them has stopped. The cycle needs to be broken and we will be addressing some of the many needs of
these youths that find themselves with no place or support.

Working with social service departments to place young adults who are
homeless, and youths that find it hard to maintain themselves in a foster care
system or living in a large group home setting. Our organization will provide life
and working skills for main streaming into today’s society. Augustine's Dream's plans to open homes for homeless and foster children and youths.
Part of our mission will be to reach these children and place them in a home environment until they’re 19 teen years of age, giving
them some additional time to acquire the life skills they need in order to mainstream into society, not pushing them away after
reaching the age of 18, these youth still need support. Our organization will strive to provide programs to enhance the life skills and
knowledge to ensure life changes. Our homeless and foster youth programs main focus will concentrate on steps to help youth
transition into responsible adults.

Affordable Safe Housing
We plan to convert unsafe apartments into livable and affordable homes for
families who are low income or receiving government assistance. Our goal will be to provide a safe and clean living environment with
affordable housing. We plan to have on site daycare centers, skill centers for training, and we will network with community
organizations that offer apprenticeship programs. Tutoring for youth and adults, parenting classes, and preparation for GED will be
offered.

Our goal will be to work with many different cultures on all levels in different
communities.
